    Best next to real pancakes

When done right they come out pretty good, If you follow the recipe the batter is too thick, but once I add 2 Tbsp of water I get a softer consistency, I drizzle maple syrup and done!

    Just Ok

Overall, the flavor is ok and these are easy to make, but the texture takes some getting used to. I make them very thin and then slightly overcooked so they are almost crunchy. That's the only way I can stomach the texture.

Hallelujah! A waffle mix that makes waffles that actually I seem not waffles (not something unrecognizable in the shape of a waffle). These really are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. They have a nice flavor too! I am so happy these ex

Made waffles with this mix and found them to be very satisfying for that waffle craving. Even my husband who is not on the AIP Diet liked them.

    Unsatisfying

I just started the AIP elimination diet and really miss all a good decadent waffle or cookie. I appreciate the “try” to make a mix that could be AIP friendly — but they just made my belly feel off. I guess the lesson is—imitation is never ever the real thing—and best to embrace the grand vegetables, fish, and meat that the elimination diet offers. Still in a search for a good waffle fix.

It’s a no for me, dog.

I don’t know if I made them wrong, but they tasted like cardboard. First of all, I confirmed I followed the recipe correctly, but my batter was WAY too thick. So I ended up having to add probably more water than I should have. I may give them another try, but they were so bad that I’m hesitant to put in any more effort.

    Texture is Spot On

I thought the texture of these waffles was spot on. My daughter, who loves Kodiak Cake waffles, tried it and liked it. The taste is something to get used to, but I ate it with blueberries and it was a great treat.

    Better than normal pancakes!!

I LOVE this pancake and waffle mix! After going AIP I was missing bread and pancakes so much - and honestly this is even better than normal pancakes. It's fluffy, sweet, light, and has a unique taste. I eat a pancake almost every day now :)
