    Tastes just like marinara!

I LOVE this sauce! It tastes like marinara sauce, if anything it’s actually better. I use this sauce over my meatballs but it’d also work on a pasta obviously.

    Carrot Marinara

I put off buying or making something like this for years, because I am not a fan of beets. However, this sauce is amazing and satisfies that craving for traditional marinara sauce. I love it. Even my non aip husband loves it.

    Good substitute

After making my own (ergh!) & buying another brand...this one is by far the best. The main issue: way too runny! Flavor is great and adding more seasonings makes it taste more Italian. I've added GF flour to it & even more veggies. For spicy I've added horseradish. Good..just needs to be thicker!

    Carrot Marinara

I use this to make spaghetti sauce to serve over zucchini spirals. I add ground beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic salt &Italian seasoning. YUM!! Hit the spot for one craving spaghetti!

    Such a. Gift

We love this stuff, and we’ve been able to make so many ‘tomato’ based things we though were lost to us forever with this sauce! Enchiladas, ‘spaghetti”, pizza, etc. We definitely preferred the name nomato sauce but thankfully the taste is still the same! We’ve also tried to make a recipe of ‘nomato’ sauce we found on the web and while it was good, it didn’t have the color or taste this does! For those of you who can’t have nightshades like us, this is a game changer!

Not going to fulfill a craving

It’s not the sauces fault I can’t eat tomatoes, but honestly I’d rather just not have marinara than try this again, it’s just not what I’m craving

    Great for non-tomato sauce

I've been really craving pasta and tomato sauce, but am on the elimination phase of the diet. I sauteed onions, mushrooms, garlic and added 1 lb of ground turkey, then this sauce and a jar of Nomato sauce. I spiced it with basil, oregano, rosemary and thyme and a little salt. I let it cook down and added a little water and some nutritional yeast. I served it over spaghetti squash. It was terrific! Really reminiscent of pasta sauce. I will be making it again.

    No tomato sauce

It’s okay. My husband and I have to cook it down to reduce the water content. I wish it was more reduced when it arrives in the jar. I’m sad the name changed. The “Carrot Marinara” title turns me off and doesn’t appeal to me at all.

    Very good taste.

I'm so happy I can have my meat with sauce or my butternut squash spaghetti. Thank you.
