    Tasty change of pace

I've been looking at the Paleo On The Go meals on their website for a while, and I thought I would give this bundle a chance. while I do enjoy cooking on my own, I thought it might be nice to have some meals in my freezer for convenience. I thought that most of what I've eaten so far was very good, but actually a little heavy on the protein and not enough vegetables in my opinion. That's an unusual problem to have with packaged meals. Usually for instance in a shrimp meal you might get for shrimp. The shrimp meal in this package probably had a half a pound of shrimp in it, but in my opinion not enough zucchini pasta For the amount of pesto sauce and shrimp. But that doesn't take away from how good it was. My other issue with why it did not get more stars is the convenience factor. The reheating instructions required you in most cases to let it thaw in the fridge overnight, and then cook in the oven for a pretty lengthy amount of time for a convenience food. the pot pie was one of the only things that you cooked from frozen, and it took an hour to cook. It was very good, and I couldn't believe how great the crust was. But unfortunately even after an hour it was not fully warm on the inside and I had to finish it in the microwave. The carob mint cookies were excellent, and I'm not a fan of chocolate mint generally. I am not certain if I would order it again, at least not on a regular basis, but the food was very good
