Organic Coconut, Organic Tiger Nut Flour, Organic Cinnamon, Konjac Root, Himalayan Pink Salt

Product Description

Delicious, naturally sweet and low carb.

We set out to add an instant hot cereal to our lineup for people following AIP (auto immune protocol) as well as those with tree nut allergies. The result was beyond our wildest dreams - super delicious and more like a farina then our other cereals, with it's own unique sweet taste from tiger nuts. And it's also low carb as well.

Just add hot water and wait 2 minutes, it's that quick and easy! Perfect as it is, or you can also add fresh fruit, butter/ghee or any of your favorite hot cereal additions. A delicious and healthy alternative to oatmeal or any other grain-based, gluten containing hot cereal out there.

  1. Pleasantly chewy

I purchased this to have more variety in my breakfasts. It's easy and fast to make (tastes great with added berries) and has a coconut chewy feel and taste.

  2. A nice alternative to oatmeal

Posted by Amelia Schad on Nov 28th 2017

I had this farina for breakfast today and prepared it with about 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup farina. It was tasty and had a texture very similar to oatmeal. You better like coconut, though, because that is certainly the predominant flavor in this product. I think it would be good topped with some fruit and maple syrup.

  3. An acquired taste??

Posted by Unknown on Nov 16th 2017

I suppose that if I was craving a cereal-type thing, I would attempt to get used to this. The texture is quite fibrous, which I could get used to, but the flavor is off-putting. I wish I could pin words to that for your benefit; the closest I can come to is slight bitterness, odd smell - kind of old smelling. The cinnamon is nice but doesn’t quite camouflage the other. To be fair, I did not add any sweetener at all. But that’s the way I wanted to eat it for the AIP ideal of keeping sugars low. I wish I could recommend this, but I can’t.

  4. Good bfast option

Very coconutty but a quick and easy breakfast option. I add maple syrup to help with the coconut taste (not my favorite taste) and also helps when I am craving something sweet.

  5. So satisfying

This is such a wonderful replacement for breakfast cereals or oatmeal! It is easy and great for camping! I love how satisfying it is, both in taste and in lasting fullness!

US Shipping

Those in the contiguous United States are eligible for free shipping over $49 of product purchases. Under $49 will result in a flat shipping rate of $9.95. We ship orders out same day whenever humanly possible, and next day when getting a shipment to the carrier would no longer be feasible.

We ship USPS, using their 2-3 day shipping option.

For those in Alaska and Hawaii or in the military overseas, the shipping charge starts at $12.95 and will be calculated by weight at checkout.

Canada Shipping

Shipping fee starts at $35 for the first 7 lbs. The fee increases by $3 per each additional pound. Once the shipping fee meets our maximum fee of $60 the price will not increase thereafter. Some products have a "Shipping Weight" in addition to the the product weights. This is the weight that is used when calculating your shipments. The weights are in ounces, so for your quick reference, 7 pounds equals 112 oz.

US Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We work hard to prevent breakage during shipments. Unfortunately, there is not a way to 100% eradicate the risk. If you find an item has been damaged in transit, please contact us so that we may send you a replacement as soon as possible.

If you need to return an item, please contact us at 530-536-3969 or via email at Sandra@ShopAIP.com with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond within 24 hours with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Canadian Return Policy

We wish we could be as generous with our return policy with our Canadian customers as we are with our US ones, but the shipping is currently cost prohibitive. During our months of beta testing shipments to Canada, our customers did not experience a single broken item. However, I know that eventually our luck will run out and a box, for whatever reason, will experience damage. If you happen to be on the unlucky receiving end of such an incident we will promptly return your funds or issue a store credit, whichever you prefer.

We would LOVE to serve the entire worldwide AIP community. We are working diligently to make the company a big enough success at home so that we are capable to moving out into other parts of the world. At this time, the shipping costs from the US to other countries are too steep for any of our customers to be willing and able to pay. For example, I'd estimate that the minimum shipping charge to Europe would start around $60 for a 7 lb shipment. So far, I haven't had anyone willing to pay $60-$150 for a relatively small amount of AIP products.

If you are unfazed by high shipping costs, I'd be happy to speak to you to see if we can open up our system to accept your country and you can become the first beta tester for your country (this is how it was done for Canada). Even if you aren't - we love hearing from our International community and if you drop me a line to let me know where you live, it will help determine future ShopAIP locations.
